 Te Tuhi Art Gallery

When we got to the Te Tuhi Art Gallery we went went inside and all we could see was a big steel tent(what red Indians use as there shelter in the olden days, but big sticks). We went to sat down and wait for the person that's going to show us around and some art work, made by amazing artists.
Then the person came and told us the rules in the gallery, the rules were...

  • Don't touch the art
  • Listen to the instructions
  • Don't interrupt when the teacher is talking
After that we walked our way to the kids art class we saw some fantastic art works on the wall.Mr.        told us when we go inside we have to put our aprons on then go and find a seat then sit down and wait for the instructions.I went inside got my things and went and sat down and waited for the instructions.Mr.      told us we were going to do some abstract art using different materials but listening carefully to what he is saying.

We had to

After we finished doing our art we went to go and check out the big sculpture outside( the sculpture is 11 years old).Mr.     told us to remember some colours and tell him when we go back inside. We went inside and he told us some last things, he said " We were really good and we were participating and finishing our art" Then it was time for us to go to back to school, but Levi R had to say thank you for Mr.    for teaching us the history of abstract art.
